Why we use it
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
Responding to enquiries and potential projects.
To manage the messages you send us, understand what you need and maintain the necessary communication with you.
Managing professional relationships.
When a conversation leads to a proposal or contractual relationship, we may use the information necessary to prepare, develop and manage that relationship.

Complying with our legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires us to retain or disclose certain information.
The legal part
Not all processing activities rely on the same legal basis.
When you contact us to request information about a potential project, processing may be necessary in order to respond to your request and take steps prior to entering into a possible contract.
For other general enquiries, we may process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding appropriately to the communications we receive.
To send you our newsletter or similar communications, we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, that obligation will be the legal basis for processing.
And any cookies or analytics tools that require authorisation will only be used where you have given the corresponding consent.
How long we keep it
We don’t want to keep information for the sake of it.
Data received through the contact form will be kept for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and manage any potential relationship arising from it. It may then be retained in a restricted form for the periods required to address any possible legal liabilities.
Data used for marketing communications or our newsletter will be kept until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe.
Where there is a contractual relationship, we will retain the relevant information for the duration of that relationship and afterwards for the periods required by applicable law.
Data associated with cookies will be kept for the periods indicated in our Cookie Policy.
Who may see your data
MALFI does not sell your personal data.
Certain service providers we rely on to operate the website and deliver our services may have access to specific information, always within the scope of their respective functions.

Where these providers process data on our behalf, they will act as data processors and will be subject to the corresponding data protection obligations.
We will not disclose your personal data to third parties unless it is necessary to provide a service you have requested, we are legally required to do so, or another valid legal basis applies.
Data can travel
Some of the technology providers we use may process data from countries outside the European Economic Area.
Wix operates internationally and may process or store information in different jurisdictions.
Where an international transfer of personal data takes place, it must be carried out using mechanisms recognised under European data protection law, such as European Commission adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards.

We may request additional information only where necessary to verify your identity.
If you believe your rights have not been properly respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
